Process

I applied online and received a phone call from the recruiter within one week.

I had three interviews in total.

For some of the questions, they asked for optimal solutions, but they were not that strict.

It was an overall good experience.

Questions

Round 1: I was asked about my projects and a few simple questions.

  1. Check if a number is a palindrome (you can't parse it into a string; you have to separate digits and then compare after reversing).
  2. Check if the sum of two numbers in an array equals a target number in O(N) time.

Round 2: Again, some chat with the interviewer, and then he moved to questions.

  1. Check if a number is prime.
  2. Check if a string is a palindrome.
  3. Check if strings in a list form a target string. Just return True or False. For example: arr = ["hos", "tal", "pit", "p", "it", "pi"] target = "hospital"

Round 3: Interviewer asked about the most recent project I had worked on. Chatting about the company.

  • Difference between static and non-static functions.
  • Interfaces vs. abstract classes (gave a scenario and asked which one I would choose).
  • A little bit of inheritance.
  • Is C an object-oriented language?
  • Is C++ an object-oriented language?
  • Is Python an object-oriented language?
  • Metaclasses in Python. And more short questions.
