Pros: Fast-paced, you learn a lot about doing more with less and scaling monolithic applications, which is a transferable skill to other companies.
Cons: Shopify nowadays has a big issue regarding politics. Most orgs are fighting for budget and trying to impress Tobi.
When something goes wrong, upper management goes into a firing spree, trying to find scapegoats.
If you do not enjoy working 12-14 hour days or working a few weekends every month, chances are you are not going to enjoy working here.
