Process
I was referred to Shopify.
After the initial screening, there was a pair programming exercise. You are paired with a developer at Shopify and can use your own development setup.
My interviewer was very kind and helpful throughout. I was able to get through most of the exercise, but did not complete it in its entirety. I was not moved to the next round.
I believe the next steps were a "life story" interview, followed by a series of coding interviews.
Questions
It was a string character flipping question.
