Two weeks later, I received a request for a Skype interview with one of the intern recruiters.

Their interviews work differently: instead of going through a checklist of questions, you share your "Life Story," going through your life in detail. It was a rather pleasant experience; my interviewer was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say.

Unfortunately, a month after the Skype interview, I was rejected.

However, she did mention that if I had moved forward, the next step would have been an on-site interview with a couple of the developers working there.
