I applied online and met with my recruiter in person for a quick chat about my experiences and what I enjoyed most about technology.

She told me a bit about the intern program at Shopify. Then, I completed two more online interviews with software developers and team leads.

Both interviews were very targeted towards my resume and previous programming experience, including:

Cons: The HR representative was smiling and saying that if you are not good enough, you will be fired. Then they asked a lot of random questions. The guy was smiling all the time, even when saying he laid off people by the ton. Is this a company you want to work for? No, never.
