I came in through an acquisition. There were a few interviews to get through:
The programming interview was relatively easy for me. It wasn't some LeetCode nonsense but a real-world question designed to gauge my skill set.
The systems design interview was also good. It was definitely geared towards understanding how I've worked at scale and what I'd do to aid with performance and other challenges at scale.
Finally, the personality/HR interview was more about ensuring I would be a good cultural fit.
I thought my experience might have been a little different, given that I came in from an acquisition of a smaller company. However, after talking to people during onboarding, I found that they shared similar experiences.
