Process

I applied through the website and received an email. I was then referred to another related role that they thought I'd fit for my experience.

My first call was with a recruiter to learn more about me and get started; this lasted 30 minutes.

Next were the Life Story and coding interviews on the same day, each lasting an hour.

The Life Story interview is essentially a conversation about your life and experiences that have led you to where you are. It's more of an informal chat to understand your personality. They don't force you to reveal anything you're not comfortable with; it felt like chatting with a friend.

The online coding interview used Coderpad. It was a very basic question designed to assess your ability to write code, nothing complex. I'd recommend talking through your solution and explaining your approach before you start.

Next step: the Onsite interview.

The onsite involved two pair programming challenges and one technical deep dive.

Pair programming involves working with one of the onsite developers on a problem. You walk through the solution using a whiteboard and also write code while both of you share one large monitor. Think of it as coding with a colleague and discussing each step you're performing.

The technical deep dive is a discussion and whiteboarding of one of the projects you've worked on.

Within or less than a week, the decision and offer were given to me. Throughout the entire process, the recruitment team stayed in touch, kept me updated on each stage, and explained everything clearly. They provided feedback, detailed explanations of benefits and perks, and a reference to the hiring manager of the team I was assigned to, allowing me to speak with them.

I believe this is the best interview process I've experienced in terms of communication and the convenience of onsite travel.
