Management has gotten worse and worse over time.
Not sure if it's a general thing now, but I used to have a great manager. Then a new manager came who loved to micromanage and do busy work. They wouldn't leave us in peace to do our job. It was the most stressful experience I've had in a work environment.

Senior leadership is just terrible. A bunch of multibillionaires that lost touch with reality.
Trust your engineers and don't keep giving them busy work.
The first step was a resume screening, which may have been an auto-pass. This was followed by an IQ test-style screening. After this was a coding screening. Did not proceed past the coding screening process.
The interview process went quickly. The recruiter was very responsive and nice, and made the whole experience 10 times better. The interviewers did not ask impossible questions and focused more on the thought process than the correct answer.
I was not given good feedback. I did well in five interviews and performed adequately in the sixth. I did not receive detailed feedback on why I was not chosen. The interviews themselves featured standard software development questions that were e
