I applied for the spring semester and didn't hear back for about two weeks, when they asked for a phone interview. The interview was basically a conversation and was really easy. It took another week to get the offer. Then, there were two weeks of HR stuff, including a background check and onboarding.
I believe mentioning specific Siemens knowledge about a recent acquisition also helped me.
