There was a written test coupled with a group discussion. These included some technical questions.
The written test contained both aptitude and technical sections.
There were 25 questions on technical topics and 25 questions on aptitude. There was no negative marking.

- Question for calculating VSWR.
- Full form of VIRUS.
- What is the purpose of a duplexer in radar?
- Question on an XOR gate.
- Principle of a Zener diode.
Questions were asked from every subject, but 3-4 questions were from antennas.
