Round 1:
I received an email from Siemens for an online test. It contained basic OOPS concepts, Java questions, and two simple programs. I received an email stating that I had cleared this test.
Round 2:
I was given an interview time of 12 PM, yet I had to wait for 1.5 hours. The first round then started. The interviewer was really friendly and nice. He began with tricky questions on constructors and overriding, which I was not able to answer. However, the interviewer encouraged me anyway and continued with collections, functional interfaces, and SQL, which I was able to answer all of these questions efficiently. He also asked some questions about REST, Spring, and AWS, and I answered them pretty well.
The interviewer then asked me to wait outside. 20 minutes later, HR told me I had cleared the round.
Round 3:
This round was taken by Siemens' Chief Architect. It was mainly centered around my previous experience, my current role, and responsibilities. The interviewer asked some basic questions regarding Docker, parallel streams, and AWS. Then he asked me what I had done recently that I was most proud of. I answered it in two parts: first, where I implemented something technically good, and then I added an example where I implemented something complex according to the functionality of my project. I was also asked how I would rate myself in learning new technologies. I was also asked about my project architecture and why certain technologies were used in my project. I cleared this round.
Round 4:
This round was with the Chief R&D of Roads (India). He didn't ask anything technical. This was more of an HR-kind of round. Questions regarding strengths, weaknesses, current CTC, expected CTC, etc.
One week later, I was informed that I was not selected.
