Assessment centre:

• Introduction with all the candidates, followed by a brief presentation by managers.
• Group exercise: Candidates were given a booklet with an article about a new piece of technology (unrelated to the job). They were then asked to discuss within their group how Siemens could implement this new technology as a new business opportunity.
• Formal interview: Candidates then had a formal interview with two of the managers.
