Siemens is one of the best companies to work for. It has a culture and a vision far ahead of most other companies. Siemens cares about its employees. The Lisbon Campus is great, with a wide variety of initiatives taking place almost every week during the summer.
Work-life balance has been a no-brainer for the company for some years. Most companies only started letting their employees do home office during the pandemic, but not Siemens. I could already stay working from home 2-3 days per week long before the pandemic.
The salary could be even better, having into account nowadays market.
The process took one day after the initial selection from the online test. Candidates came to my campus. The process consisted of a technical interview followed immediately by an HR interview. Results were announced two days later.
The interview has several parts, from screening and discussing with every representative of the team, up to the manager and HR. The interview was not easy; it involved several architectural discussions and team fit assessments.
The interview was positive, with tons of technical questions. The interviewer was very cooperative and had huge experience. They put me through various coding and OOPs concept questions, where I had to complete code and answer technical queries.
