Pros
  1. Good brand name.
  2. Better than average compensation.
  3. Less workload as a fresher in the beginning.
Cons
  1. They will give you a sales or a management-related profile and will not say it during the interview. During campus recruitment, you might think you will get an Electronics profile, but later they will give you a sales profile.

  2. There is no training for Sales Engineer (even for freshers) in the division I work (PD, DF). Some departments only will have training.

  3. Promotions are purely time-based and seniority-based, resulting in very slow growth.

  4. HR is not good; they will not clearly mention what profile you will get.

  5. There is no location consideration. I am from Mumbai, and they put me in Bangalore, although there are two offices in Mumbai apart from a manufacturing facility at Kalwa.

Advice to Management
  1. If you are hiring for a Sales profile, then mention it during the interview. Don't give false hopes.

  2. Give location preference. When people fill the online portal, give an option where they can specify their location preference, as done by all IT companies.

  3. Compensation must be improved.
