Generally a very good company, but I was not so lucky

Pros

Interesting technologies and innovative projects. Flexibility (smart working was encouraged even before the pandemic). Location (Milan site is reachable via public transport, but also has its own parking for personal vehicles). Besides, it has different areas for relaxing, an internal company canteen, a cafeteria, and a gym.

Cons

The following cons I report are applied to my unlucky team/projects, but I am pretty sure that in the company there are others in the same situation.

Undersized team with no regard for people's specialization or formal "role". As a consequence, people are requested to overwork to keep the projects active "for a greater good".

No clear/transparent vision and objectives, lots of missed promises to keep people in line. People are valued only when they threaten to leave.
