The interview process was similar to others I've had, but definitely better than most of the other companies I interviewed with. It began with a phone call with the recruiter who reached out to me via email, followed by a call with the hiring manager. Then, I completed a take-home exercise, which was due in one week, and finally, an onsite interview.
What I loved about the interview process was that I found it challenging but incredibly fair. The take-home exercise was something I was able to complete, though it wasn't a walk in the park. I remember thinking how thoughtfully the exercise was structured, as it touched on so many relevant web-development topics. I really enjoyed working on it.
After finishing the exercise, I was invited onsite and interviewed with four different people. Two interviews were technical, and two were more conversational. Part of the onsite interview involved doing a code review of my own assessment, which I really enjoyed.
Another wonderful aspect of my interview process was that my panel was 50-50 male-female, which has never happened before, and I've done quite a few onsites. Overall, I had a great interview experience and felt that my recruiter was preparing me as best she could and that she truly advocated for me as a candidate. It means a lot.
Web development questions, but I don't want to share specifics.
