After a brief first phone screening, I was given an assignment to complete. I was told that if I had technical questions, I could ask the hiring manager.
I did send an email asking about a website connection issue, but no one replied.
Although I didn't feel good about the company, I still spent a whole weekend finishing the assignment and submitted it.
A week after I submitted the assignment, there was no response. I sent an email to the recruiter for a status update.
Then, I was told I did not match the position.
The candidate spent time and effort on the assignment; at least Slack should review the assignment and provide a review report.
Very bad experience!
