I received an email thanking me for finishing the coding challenge, but stating I would not be moved forward. However, I never actually took the coding challenge.

I emailed them, and the next day, I received a phone call. They expressed interest and we had a short conversation. The person I spoke with said they would get back to me if the developers wanted to proceed after reviewing my resume.

The following day, I received an email stating they would not move forward with my application.

Don't waste your time here.

I am sure the HR person made a mistake, but they likely didn't want to face any backlash. So, they simply made a call and refused me right after.
