Software Engineer - Test Automation Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

May 1, 2016
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The process started with a recruiter cold-calling me. I then set an appointment using an online tool, which made the process smoother all the way to the first call. Everything was downhill from there, including scheduling the second call, the coding exercise, and the lack of feedback.

Their excuse for not providing coding exercise feedback is the volume of interviews they are conducting, which is a poor excuse. Am I supposed to be honored to even get a chance to talk to them? I am not exactly idle at home waiting for job offers. I took time out of my free time to show Slack what I can do. The least they can do is give me feedback.
