The interview itself went alright overall. However, the follow-up process was characterized by ghosting for a few weeks, with no responses to emails.

Then, an email arrived stating they were happy with my interview and wished to continue, advising me to wait for a follow-up email scheduling the next interview. After a few more weeks of ghosting, a condescending email was sent. This email indicated they no longer wished to continue, claiming I was "bad" and they had no use for my skills. The email also made untrue claims about the interview (which had taken place about six weeks prior). It stated I hadn't addressed points in my review that I demonstrably had, and it shifted blame for their own issues onto me. For instance, a server installation, performed by following their guide, failed due to their interviewers' lack of knowledge and inability to resolve it, yet this was presented as my incompetence.

The entire tone of the response email was terrible, condescending, and somewhat degrading. This felt like a fabricated excuse for them changing their mind for an unstated reason.

I was really excited to interview for this company and was extremely happy when they first told me they wanted to move on to the final interview. Now, however, I'm not sure I would interview for them again in the future, especially after reading other reviews here that indicate similar terrible experiences.

Review a PR for code that builds a tree of NPM dependencies. This was done as prep for the interview at home.

Go over it, and then implement a fix for recursive dependencies causing an infinite loop.
