This was followed by a non-technical phone interview and then an on-site interview.

SoFi took months to get back to me after our initial contact, even after they told me I would be receiving an offer.

Eventually, I received the offer and was given a start date. I then let my current employer know of my plans to leave.

The weekend before I was to fly out for training, SoFi rescinded my job offer based on dismissed misdemeanor (non-serious) charges from over four years ago that are in the process of being removed.

This was very unprofessional.
