Since joining SoFi, I have been introduced to some very neat technology and bright people.
SoFi is growing fast and it keeps a very enjoyable group.
Being on the Engineering team is great. We have social interactions, we learn from each other, and everyone I have met so far strives to be the best they can, which, in turn, makes me want to do the best I can. It is a great atmosphere and great people.
With fast-paced growth come challenges. At times, you get a little lost in what is going on from day to day. Some managers seem to be overworked and struggle to take care of a few everyday tasks. The communication could be better.
One thing that I think would be very helpful is creating an employee portal of sorts. A single place to log in and access the things we need to as an employee. We have Okta, so we could expand the use of that more or create an SSO solution that could help manage the life of an employee, HR stuff, logins, etc.
