I worked on a high-performing team with some of the brightest people I've ever known. It was challenging, but looking back, I can't imagine going through life without experiencing this. My team set aggressive goals and usually reached them. This sometimes meant really stretching to get there, which is why I say it was challenging. The co-workers I had, the growth I experienced, and the compensation made it 100% worth it. It was also really rewarding to see the company set aggressive goals and very often meet or exceed them. Winning feels good. I worked here longer than any other company on my résumé and am so proud of the things I accomplished during that time.
On-call shifts sometimes made it hard to get normal, adequate sleep.
