Contact about the position via LinkedIn.

Had an initial interview with HR that covered basic technical questions on:

  • Material strengths
  • Statics
  • Dynamics
  • Fluid dynamics
  • Manufacturing economics
  • Manufacturing processes

Brush up on all these subjects before interviewing.

I had an interview with the managing engineer over the phone but declined to go further because I didn't want to live in California, being worked 14-16 hours a day.

Questions

Which materials have higher tensile strength and hardness: titanium, aluminum, or stainless steel?

Some bending moment questions.

If you have a fluid going through a converging-diverging nozzle, what will happen?
