I had an onsite and phone technical interview at the SpaceX Redmond office for an electrical engineering job.

I was asked very technical questions, ranging from analog circuit design, digital circuit design, embedded system design, and satellite avionics.

The questions were designed to be answered by someone who has had practical experience in these areas.

All my interviewers had impressive resumes.

The interviews consisted mostly of answering technical problems with little time to discuss my own experiences. However, if I took the initiative to bring up my technical experience, the interviewers would listen.

It is important to realize that the interviewers will keep asking more difficult and esoteric questions to understand the limits of your knowledge.
