Pros: Full end-to-end ownership of work. Work with extremely skilled people. Diversify skills. The work is constantly changing.

Cons: You get pulled in many directions at once and are expected to execute at the highest level for all of them. You rarely get the time to stop and get really good at one thing, and are often too spread out. Everyone is being pulled in many directions, which results in a stressful and often blunt/harsh environment. There are barely any women...

Pros: Extremely mission driven company. Likelihood of success is high in the medium to long term. Great place to level up as an engineer.

Cons: You will not have a life outside of work, especially in Starbase.

Pros: Benefits, free food, and looks prestigious... unless you work there. Then you know.

Cons: Toxic work environment and people, long unpredictable hours, relatively low pay, corruption, extreme narcissism especially from people who have been there longest and have no formal education. Your reviews are based on co-workers' opinions of you and not facts. Lots of insecure people threatened by new ideas. Worst mistake of my career!
