The interview process consisted of four total rounds:
The onsite interview included a tour of the manufacturing floor, followed by my delivery of a 25-minute presentation on a technical project of my choice from previous experience. This was followed by six 1-on-1 interviews with the team and lunch. I made it through two out of the six 1-on-1s before I was escorted out. These interviews varied from technical to behavioral.
The team was very polite and easy to talk to. The Manager took time to give me detailed feedback and specifics on why they would not be extending an offer. The criticism was very constructive, and I was strongly encouraged to reapply after gaining more experience. I appreciated the detailed feedback and encouragement from the team.
Based on casual conversations and lunch with members of the team, I could tell the atmosphere is one where people take pride in their work and maintain high standards for one another. Overall, the experience was fun and enlightening.
I didn't see a lot of "tired" or "depressed" faces. They were regular people working hard, living and breathing their work.
