I received an email stating I had been selected for an interview. This was followed by a short (30-minute) technical interview, after which I was asked to write a report on my most challenging project.
I then had a second phone interview with a member of the team I was interviewing for. They asked me questions about my report and presented some design problems and thought exercises.
Subsequently, I received an email informing me that they were moving forward with another candidate who had more experience.
Overall, it was a great experience with a lot of good feedback. The people involved responded to my questions and concerns very promptly. I had another offer on the table, and they expedited their process, which is normally 4-6 weeks, into 2 weeks.
From a 3D printed piece in my technical report, they asked how I would change the piece to be mass-manufactured.
