A brief phone interview with HR was conducted.
Next, an interview with the hiring manager was set up.
This phone interview took one hour and included:
- An in-depth discussion of my resume.
- Questions about design, manufacturing, and justification.
- Some brief, general engineering questions.
Following the interview, I received an email stating that I was not selected.

Pros: - The people you work with are all in the same mindset, and you feel part of the company pushing the aerospace industry forward.
- One of the fastest moving industries where crazy ideas are developed.
- Lots of career opportunities once you enter the company.
Cons: - Middle management is not good. They will shuffle you around and put you under people that don't know your job (or even theirs). Over 10 people left/let go in my team in under 1 year and they don't blink an eye at management as the problem. They will kill morale to check boxes.
- After almost 11 years with the company, they gave me the boot and only 2 months of severance
