Process

The process has five phases.

  1. Debugging Quiz: A short quiz where you look for simple bugs in relatively short functions.
  2. Technical Phone Screen: A phone screen with a recruiter. The recruiter appears to have a list of questions with expected answers and grades you accordingly.
  3. Engineer Phone Interview: A phone interview with an engineer who asks standard questions about your background and experience, as well as more in-depth technical questions related to the job.
  4. Programming Challenge: A six-hour programming challenge. While details cannot be shared, it seemed to be an appropriate level of difficulty for the role and your experience level. Unfortunately, you did not have enough time to finish the project to their standards (mostly due to poor time management; you were close) and did not advance to the final phase.
  5. On-site Interview: The final phase.
