I applied online. The process took 3 weeks.
I had a quick phone screen with the recruiter, and they basically asked whether I’m willing to travel, work overtime, and whether I have the experience that they’re looking for.
I got moved on to the next technical interview with the hiring manager, where a lot of questions were heavily material science and maybe mechanical engineering focused with some scenario-based questions. I don’t have a degree or direct experience in both disciplines, and I think they didn’t do a deep dive into my resume because my experience was in a different industry. The interview went well overtime, which I thought was a good sign though they didn’t leave any time for me to ask questions. I got the rejection email later that same weekend.
