Front-End Developer Intern Interview Experience - Canada
Process
I applied in early January 2021 and received a reply about a month later to schedule the first-round interview. The first round wasn’t too technical.
Two weeks after the first round, I was contacted to schedule the final-round interview. I thought the interview went well, although the interviewers seemed a little unresponsive.
After completing the final round, I contacted my recruiter but never received a reply. After multiple attempts in the following two months, I handed in the towel. This, in particular, made my experience negative.
Receiving a final-round interview with not even an automated rejection email, plus being ghosted by my recruiter, felt a little harsh. I’m sure this doesn’t speak for the entire company, as I’ve heard great things, but this is just my experience.
