Splunk handled the pandemic better than any other company that I know of.
They gave us 30 days of "pandemic" PTO on top of our PTO and sick days for us to use for mental health, helping children with virtual learning, etc.
We are also allowed to stay full-time remote if we want, even when offices reopen.
There has been some shuffling of C-levels recently, stocks are down, and some lack of direction at the product level for my division.
Interviewed via a third-party company. I felt it was a bit shallow, with almost no interaction from the recruiter. After the interview, I received zero contact from the company, which seemed quite weird, almost as if they didn't want to employ anyone
Typical Bay Area software engineer interview process involving nearly 10 interviewers with 5 or 6 rounds of interviews. The interview is based on algorithms & data structures, systems, and multi-threading.
Extremely fast interview process. Starting from the first call from HR to receiving the offer took only 3 days for me. The HR representative and the hiring manager were both very friendly. It was a very positive experience.
