Amazing work culture, challenging but fun. Talented coworkers to work with and learn from. Industry-leading product with a fun tech stack. Company cares about its employees and organizes lots of events like movie nights and pub crawls. Compensation is very competitive with the industry.
Lacks some of the perks of other tech companies, such as free food (though there is free lunch on Mondays and breakfast on Fridays).
Weird 401K system.
Organizations can be siloed, making it difficult to gain visibility into what's happening around the company.
Improve the 401K plan because planning for retirement is important and should not be dependent on company performance.
Increase visibility and transparency into each org to increase interorg communication and decrease siloing.
They canceled the interview even though I passed the previous round. They didn't give me any reason, either. This totally wasted my time, especially since they reached out to me with the opportunity.
The interview process is two 45-minute technical interviews with a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer, and one 30-minute interview with a Senior Manager. There are three algorithms questions and some basic knowledge about JavaScript.
Very bad experience. The manager seemed mean, didn't ask any questions, and didn't answer any questions. They briefly introduced their team, then asked a very simple coding question. It felt like they didn't really want to hire anyone. A total waste
