Pros: - Fun product to work on - Greenfield projects due to product taking bets - Great WLB - Great culture

Cons: - Top-down structure where teams don't have much agency - Leadership is a mess - Weak comp

Pros: Good perks: * High salary * Free lunch every day

Cons: No autonomy - all decisions had to go through the owner who cared little for most people's opinions, and worse changed his decisions on a daily basis. He would re-write people's code without saying anything - no mention that it was done let alone an explanation, even if what was written was exactly what had been agreed upon. Siloed working arrangements - everyone worked on their own thing and there was no cross-pollination, discussion or sharing. Depressing culture - the company didn't care about the people that worked there, and cared much more about impressing customers and the press.

Pros: Great work-life balance, nice office, and easy to comprehend goals from leadership

Cons: Pay is no longer competitive, and chaotic leadership.
