Testeur QA Interview Experience - Dublin, Dublin

December 20, 2018

Process

Straightforward process but no transparency at all. No information on hours, salary, role, other candidates, or when the role starts.

Phone interview, then a written test, then two interviews in two consecutive hours. The two leads were very friendly, and the two meetings were nice and friendly, though unnecessarily long and detailed.

They provided me with as little information as possible, stayed vague, and did not ask very relevant questions.

However, I did not get an offer despite doing well at every stage of the process.

No explanation either, just that they "feel I might not fit in the team" despite the fact that I did not meet the team at any stage.

Seems totally random, fairly discriminatory as they based their final decision on a "feeling" rather than on skills or experience.

The staff that I saw there seemed quiet, the atmosphere strange, the decor black and gloomy.

The whole experience felt like an undeserved waste of my precious time, and looking at the comments here, it does compute with other experiences.

Not the kind of company where you feel valued, relaxed, and comfortable.
