Alright, so it starts off with the recruiter reaching out and scheduling a Karat Interview.
The Karat Interview goes off without a hitch, and the next round is with the hiring manager. Scheduling this interview took a little while as I had to pester the recruiter three times to get that round scheduled.
I get asked for availability for the final rounds, and I put it into their calendar. After waiting 6 days, I try to send an email to the recruiter again. The email to the recruiter fails to send.
Turns out that the position is no longer available. The recruiters do not care to let you know whether the position was filled or not, and just radio silence after spending a good 7-8 hours prepping, interviewing, and speaking with members of the team. I generally do not post anything because there are enough stories of terrible interviews and experiences, but this is just completely unacceptable.
A complete waste of time all in all. Stay away!
