The overall interview rounds were okay, except that the environment setup instructions provided prior to the interview didn't quite match the real case during the interview. However, the interview design was reasonable overall, and I don't want to blame the rejection or my underperformance in some rounds on the interview process itself. After all, interview performance is a combination of ability and luck.

What made me feel nauseous was the HR's attitude after the interview. I asked for this call with HR because I had multiple other interviews ongoing and wanted to get some constructive feedback. The rejection letter itself was very well written; it seemed like they cared about candidates and potential future opportunities, and it particularly mentioned that she would be "more than happy" to have a call with me. But no.

The HR started the call with an arrogant attitude, stating I could only re-apply after one year (emphasizing this a few times during the five-minute call) and that she didn't have many details to share about the interview. Who says anything about re-applying? Come on, there are tons of opportunities out there, and what makes you think people want to stick with you?

This completely opposite attitude just shows how hypocritical this company is. It acts like it has a caring culture, but in fact, it's totally the opposite. I guess those "rumors" about the company's abusive culture don't come out of nowhere.
