Pros: - Good compensation. - If you can find a good team, then you can shelter from some of the toxicity.

Cons: The CEO publicly makes statements internally that, if public, would generate really bad PR for him and the company. Diversity is a joke. The CEO regularly shuts down and laughs at any mention of "wokeism." A toxic culture exists from the top down, as his behavior has fueled so much horrible behavior in the worst staff members. Aggressive PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) culture. You will be gaslit into thinking you are not working hard enough, even as you sacrifice your mental and physical health to this job. Absolutely shocking tech debt and a chaotic environment. Prepare to have every piece of work take days to weeks because of how poorly structured and run everything is. Woe is you if you get placed on a team that doesn't make Patrick money. It's not worth it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Pros: - compensation - opportunity for impact. The cultural pillar of "overtrusting" certain individuals with giant responsibilities is a great career and experience builder.

Cons: Burnout culture and downward compensation quota trajectories meant my earnings had placed me out of eligibility for transferring to a similar job in a different org.

Pros: It's an exciting product to be part of. A lot of talented developers to learn from. Benefits are great.

Cons: Expectations and time commitment are likely higher than at other companies, but this depends on the team. Engineers are expected to handle run rotations/pager duty.
