Dropped off my resume at a university event and was contacted by a recruiter two weeks later to set up a technical phone screen with two of their engineers. The interview questions were the same as mentioned in other reviews. It was a bit challenging for me, and I struggled, but the interviewers were both very nice and helpful throughout the entire process.

Pros: Super solid company, great culture, amazing leadership!
Great future prospects. Stripe is going to be around (and growing) for a long time.
Cons: Complex systems and data! Not for the faint of heart (or brain).

Pros: - Excellent leadership, thoughtful, transparent, and deliberate.
- Growing fast – lots of interesting challenges and plenty of untapped business opportunities.
- My manager is excellent; they care about supporting and leveling up everyone.
- People work hard, but the culture is one of "we're all on the same team"; no unnecessary pressure or breathing down necks.
- Really thoughtful expansion; the hiring bar remains high, with a big emphasis on supporting remote employees.

- Because we deal with people's money, any outside tech we use needs to go through a long security review process. Often, we end up building things ourselves that already exist as external products because it's easier than getting them approved.
