No recruiters were involved. Some third-party headhunters reached out. The hiring manager was completely non-tech and started arguing over the solution I gave. He knew only one way to solve it and wanted me to implement that, even though I explained the time complexity was bad for the solution. He still just wanted me to implement that.

They also threw out original features StubHub had in 2019 and now are hiring engineers to reimplement those. People from viagogo have been around for many years and feel very protective of their legacy.
