Pros: Synthesia is a genuinely exciting place to work. The pace is fast — you ship real things quickly, learn constantly, and never feel stuck in bureaucracy. The environment is friendly and collaborative; colleagues are smart, supportive, and easy to work with, and leadership is approachable. There is great energy across teams, and you can see the direct impact of your work on the product.

Cons: Priorities can shift frequently as the company moves quickly to respond to the market. Sometimes projects get reprioritized mid-stream, which can be frustrating if you like long, uninterrupted roadmaps — and you need to be comfortable with change.

Pros: Work is done really async, with very, very few meetings. The company encourages you to take ownership of small projects and bring them to completion, without too much micro-management. Good comp and benefits.

Cons: There are no clear growth opportunities (career steps), but hopefully this will be sorted out soon. Some technology aspects need to be improved, but at this stage that is expected.
