ETL- Executive Team Lead Houston, TX Interview Experience

Process

The hiring process took about a month, and my start date was three weeks after I accepted the initial offer, so overall it took almost two months.

I contacted a recruiter on LinkedIn, and she got back to me a week later. We set up a phone interview to talk about the position. She liked my attitude and moved me forward through the process.

I had four other interviews: two with STLs, one with a DTL, and lastly, the HR Market Leader. If you make it to the HR Market Leader, you pretty much have the job.

The key is to have a fun and outgoing attitude. Don't be nervous at all; just be yourself.

Everyone was very funny and welcoming, which made the interviews easier to get through.

There were a lot of situational questions asked. They might even be repeated in a future interview; it's okay to repeat the answer. Start with the problem, how you handled it, and what the outcome was. It's also okay to have them repeat a question.

Be prepared to talk about your past experience and education. You also want to be able to tell them why you want to work for Target.
