I was then offered an interview the next day, where there were two interviewers in the room asking situational questions.

A couple of weeks later, I was contacted for a phone interview.

A week or so later, I was invited for panel interviews – four different interviews with two interviewers in each, all asking situational leadership function interview questions.

A few weeks later, I was offered a position. The wait process was strenuous!
