ETL Interview Experience - Minneapolis, Minnesota

June 1, 2009
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

There were several interviews for the ETL position, and I made it to the final round.

At the final interview, they asked five behavioral questions, all about negative circumstances. For example:

  • What was a problem in a job?
  • How do you handle conflict with coworkers, and give an example?
  • Tell me a time something didn't go as planned.

It was hard to come up with so many negative answers and situations to show examples of how I made the best of those situations. Needless to say, I bombed the interview.

Questions

Tell me a time that something didn't go as planned, and what did you do to fix it.
