The process included three rounds: an aptitude test, a pre-placement talk, and a personal interview.
The aptitude test was easy and was cleared. The personal interview, which lasted almost an hour, focused on challenging situations encountered during college or personal life.

Pros: Everyone is incredibly friendly, and tech employees are given a lot of freedom to develop relatively uninhibited.
Interns are given nontrivial projects, but nothing that is too overwhelming.
There is also a robust support system in place between managers, mentors, and HR to help with any intern problems.
Cons: Target is a retail company, not a tech company, so at the end of the day, the culture and feel of the company will be focused on that, despite all of their recent technological initiatives. It is also a huge corporation and, unsurprisingly, can sometimes feel enormous, impersonal, and bureaucratic. Given these unavoidable constants, though, it seems to have done the best it can to cultivate a warm and positive culture.
