Software Engineer Interview Experience - Minneapolis, Minnesota

Process

The internal recruiter assigned to me was helpful throughout the process.

There was an initial behavioral phone interview, followed by a coding project and a technical phone interview. I was then brought to their HQ; they paid for gas and put me up in a nice hotel. Technical whiteboarding interviews took place throughout the day.

I wasn't the right fit for that role, but they decided to bring me back out for another in-person interview for a different department. However, I didn't get the job again.

My only complaint is that they didn't provide feedback on why I wasn't extended an offer, but that's a common issue throughout the industry.

Questions

How I would set up the architecture of a warehouse shipping/tracking solution to ensure product was restocked at the correct stores.

We discussed how React works, how state is passed and maintained through components, etc..

Object-oriented programming questions, such as how to design a class and how to structure a database, etc..

Was this helpful?
