Pros

Good teamwork to stock the shelves and provide product value to the customer. The HR team promotes food recognition events. The work atmosphere is kinder than most.

Cons

Everyone reinvents the wheel: no SOP or benchmarking between stores.

Each department is a silo, impacting staff, budget, and store-wide teamwork.

The store leader may be great, may not be. It's hit or miss, but it will impact everything.

Advice to Management

Change is expected, but don't make each store figure it out for themselves.

Best practice sharing should be hands-on, not left to a chat room.

The store manager needs to be involved, not just delegate.

There is a big gap between what corporate provides and what each store actually trains on or practices.
