- Good company if you are permanent. Otherwise, you will be reminded by someone in the organization that you are a contractor every day.
- Annual day functions are for permanent employees and the cab drivers; they won't invite the contractors.
Firstly, if you are seeing the good package being offered to you, do not make the mistake which I did; don't even consider joining. You will eventually be doing manual testing, and your efforts will not be appreciated.
Testers/externals are excluded from all the meetings.
FTEs will give you more work and will take your credit.
Annual days are only for permanent employees.
If the above things can't be handled, at least invite the contractors for the annual day. I am sure you can spare some food for them, at the least.
Don't make it look like modern-day slavery where the rich enjoy all the freedom and the poor are always left behind.
