Process

  1. Bring home exercises:

A. Reverse a string B. Define a function to determine if a given number is prime or not C. Create a polling website

And 2 technical phone interviews.

Feedback:

After two technical phone interviews, although the team was hiring a UI and UX focused person, the questions proposed were more or less unrelated to those fields. Instead, they were purely data-focused, which had very little to do with user interface nor user experience. At least nothing related to CSS, HTML, nor interaction was tested.

Regarding the test solution, I wasn't sure what technical issues the team was having. With the second attempt, all Node modules were preinstalled, yet the team still encountered issues. I could run the test on my local machine without any problems – perhaps the team was experiencing some local environment issues?

Questions

Create a function that returns a set of strings, including a random string, to the function.

Example: abnnaa -> banana palpe, rongae -> apple, orange

Given an array like: 'faa=1' 'foo=2+faa+1' 'bar=3+foo+1' 'boo=poo' 'poo=faa'

Return all variables in the log.
